PACK ADVENTURES

Through our guidance and teachings, the Oregon Tails Pack is an experience unlike anything else. The Pack, its cohesiveness, coherence, peace, balance and ability to ebb and flow between times of work and play give it the unique opportunity to help dogs overcome pre-existing imbalances. Examples include prey drive, fear, insecurities, stress, excessive energy or immaturity, to name a few. As old behaviors dissipate, room becomes available for new behaviors and skills such as leadwork, solid recall and social interactions to take hold and find their roots in trust, enjoyment and ease.

Rain or shine, our Pack covers roughly 10 miles per day. We move as one. We work hard. We grow. We learn. We enjoy.

Our members learn to interact with dogs of all sizes, many different breeds, as well as personality and energy types. We guides and supports each dog as they find contentment and ease within the Pack.

structure

Each day, each moment spent with our Pack is carried out with intention and with structure. We practices the Jentle Method™ exercises with Pack members while using feeling and energy to guide the dogs off-leash during socialization, free play, hiking and our Pack run.

When Pack members are working hard to learn something new, improve a skill, or demonstrate positive behavior, we thank them for their effort with time to run, play, and enjoy their balanced state of Being.

Meet the Pack

From Bernese Mountain Dogs, Labradoodles, Pitbulls, Corgis, Pomeranians and mystery-dogs, our Pack members are unique individuals of all personalities, shapes, and sizes. Each brings their own personality, strengths, quirks and diverse background to our days out at the Dog Ranch.

Seeing and being a part of each members growth is what fills our cup, day-in and day-out.

“We look at each dog—no matter their breed, history, or demeanor—the same…as a Being.”
